k-tec exhaust

i currenty have a magnex custom stainless centre from cat back an a twin stainless magnex backbox. wanting something more stealth and was wondering whats people views on this http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1088 i.e. price performance ect. would i be able to just get a backbox like this or need to get centre also to fit well? thanks

You will need it cat back as the pipe work is bigger from the back of the cat on the stealth, a back box alone wont fit the centre section pipe. I found the fit perfect on mine, very adjustable!...... but the noise is an acquired (sp) taste.... very raspy! Not boomy mind.

what other stealths are there? how much we talking for a stainless renault 172 exhaust?

gdi make one. Tbh its all about what you want. A standard renault exhaust cat back will cost you around £320 But that will fit and not be loud/boomy. The ktech one as said fits superbly, but from my experience is very raspy in its note. (i took it off) You could even get a custom one made but all seem to be loud.
