lightened flywheel (propper onr) like the ktec or elite racing def make a difference make it more buzzy and better engine braking when i fitted mine not cheap but my old one had loads of heat cracks in it and a standard one was 6.5kg when lightened only got it to 5kg an elite racing one was 3kg's !!!
I run a cup racer flywheel which has an extra tooth taken out for magnetti Marelli ecu, would be ok to do this to a ktec lightened flywheel? I presume I would need to get it balanced again?
My car wasn't custom mapped when it was fitted. The ktec wheel is made by a company called TTV racing who do all sorts for hundred of cars. Should have said mate and I could have chucked in my clutch for you, it was only 20k old.
