K-tec Suspension

Hi,

Think I am being an idiot but here goes....

Been looking at the suspension kits on k-tec, but I dont understand the whole 58mm whole spacing? I jacked my car up earlier and didnt understand, I think im being a numpty but can anyone tell me what I am meant to be measuring and where to find it.

My cars a 53 1.6 16v Clio Dynamqiue btw if that helps?!

It's the measurement between the bolt holes that hold the strut to the hub carrier.

Ok...so whats that, do I need to get the front wheels off to find that out?

If you cant get at it at full lock then yep. Fairly likely unless you have a ramp and can get under and look from the inside.

Just had the wheel off and measure the two bolts, they are 58mm, I measure from middle of bolt 2 middle of bolt, does that sound about right?

£250 is my limit really on price.

I want my car lowered but I want a good ride aswell. Any tips? I know now both those kits fit after measuring the bolts earlier today, so just want to buy one now.

get the apex kit from john2modified he'll beat k-tec's price's , stay away from spax i had nothing but trouble with the rear dampers and after 3 sets sold them on
