k-tech uprated mounts

Just finished fitting the uprated mount kit. Really please with it no more knocking noises and really positive acceleration. The extra vibration is minimal and very easy to live with.

My only concern is that I may have fitted the gearbox engine mount incorrectly. Put it all together but found when tightening the main nut that there wasnt much thread and is only just on the nylon is this correct. Hopefully you can see what i mean from the pics, just abit worried it will vibrate lose or the gearbox isnt in the correct place.

that's as they're supposed to be and it shouldn't cause any problems

oh right thank you might just drop a bit of lock tight on just to make sure. Is there a specific torque setting for the uprated mounts or just the same as standard ?

i didn't bother torquing mine - just 'tight'. it's definitely worth loctiting the lower nut that holds that bolt on from underneath, as they work loose

And a pain in the arse to tighten when you're on your own too.
