Do these have an aux belt as well as a cambelt, or is the dealer speaking pish?

Yes they have aux belt.

Yup got both Aux and Cambelt. Had my aux belt changed a few months back for £115 at the local Renault dealer.

Is it changed every 3 years/5 years?

TBH I'd rather wap it into someplace like Falkland and get them to change cambelt and the auxbelt at the same time.

i dont know of an engine in a car that doesn't have an aux belt. You'd struggle to drive the alternator without one for a start, and that's on the most very basic of engines
