K800 Battery Life

is it really this poor ?

ive only had it a few days and it just seems to die within 2 days

i think my W800 got a lot better after a few weeks use, im hoping this might do the same ?

My lass has just got one too (k800) and shes having to charge it every other day. Same goes for a couple of mates.

I haven`t done it myself yet but the batt life does seem pretty poor

The battery life, whilst not great, lasts me a few days (and I use my phone loads, including camera and bluetooth is on all the time).

Charging it every few nights is nothing compared to the quality of the phone overall, tho.. infact, the charging would normally annoy me but the rest of the phone is *that* good

Just be glad you didn't get lumbered with a Motorola V3X. The battery lasts about the same (two days) and right up until the point where it lets you that the battery is about to die it reads as full charged.

Truly up there as one of the worst phones I have ever had - only beaten by a Samsung

n80 is shocking!

k800i. i had one, charged it fully, had a quick play (10mins worth), made no calls, or anything, and then let it run down to flat and it lasted about 3-4 days tops.

LOL! go update your software or something! When the n80 isnt crashing its on charge, great idea. Its just a shame its crap.

K800i battery can be significanly improved if you turn off 3g reception (not really an issue to some people who dont have a 3g/umts signal)

The brightness can be reduced a couple of steps without harming the useability.

There is a new update out for the end of this week which should extend battery life a little.

my n80 didnt crash in the 2 weeks i owned it, but it was slighty buggy web browsing on wifi. (supposidly fixed in last firmware release.

battery life is poor tho on the n80 (wifi doesnt help), but they have upped the battery on the models released since.

the tips tom posted are excellent for that bit of extra battery life tho!

My battery usually lasts 3-4 days with quite a bit of use, if i dont use it much it will last longer.

Yeah most K800i's dont last that long for battery life!! Like the guy says, they need a software update and i know of some of the batteries being faulty too!!

It helps when you work for Carphone warehouse! Keep an eye out for the W950i thats gonna be ace for music lovers! But it aint got a camera
