Karcher hose reel

I'm wanting to keep my Karcher in the garage and basically have the high pressure hose on a reel to take out onto the drive

Looking for a reel and 15-20m of hose. I've seen some bits out there - kit wise they seem to be around £150 quid?

Anyone run anything similar?

Ref this is have an extention hose from the above company for my nilfisk proper quality stuff.

I have a 25m one attached to the back of the house and bought this 50m for cleaning the cars / watering the far end of the garden;

Was on offer at £70 odd pound.

I know he doesn’t want 50m, my point was, £150 sounds a lot for a 15-20m hose reel.

Although it seems I’ve completely misread it and seen that he wants to leave the Karcher in the garage and use a long high pressure attachment. So I am still a berk.

Hence my comment, had to double check I’d not read it wrong to avoid intense return fire.

I imagine it’s easier than lugging it out every time you want to use it, you can leave it plumbed in and plugged in and just pull the high pressure hose out.

Just to stick my oar in here....

It all depends what you want. If you just want water access out in your driveway, as an example, then the hoselock reel that @Cub. linked should work a charm. Ive got one round the side of my house, for the garden that I never water...

However, if you want the ability to leave the Karcher in the garage and have pressurised water to wash the car with etc, then you'll need the directhoses £150+ jobby.

I do have that one too and its a game changer. Ive got their wall mounted pressure washer and reel. I flick the switch, pull the reel out and im cleaning. No lugging a big jetwash anywhere. Ive also hard mounted hot/cold water into the garage and have a switch based set up. Hot water jet washing in the winter is a game changer.

I recently bought a 15m in2detailing hose and their premium own brake quick release trigger. Brilliant quality and total game changer for washing. I didn’t get the reel as honestly I felt it was too much for the time I use it and instead just loop the hose up on a hook, takes 20 seconds longer and saved me £110.

Also have the pressure washer (only a k2) in the garage on a TMV which is brilliant for car and bike washing in the winter. I’d start there as you can always buy the reel in the future. From Amazon or something.

Had one it lasted about 3 years and recently burst so ive just replaced it with another one, its perfect, my K4 is plumbed into the garage, high pressure hose drilled thru the garage wall, so all i do is turn the water on, turn the power on, wash away!

This is my current set up, I did look into the hose reels from hosesdirect for my K4 but ended up ordering a Giraffe wall mounted to tidy everything up and given the offer at the time it wasn’t much more money going this way and looks much better imo.

Can’t say the giraffe washer is anywhere near as powerful as the K4 but for ease of use it’s more than enough for car cleaning duties etc
