stripped all the stereo system today, as having respray soon this is how it was :

i weighed everything on some scales and all this:

weighed about 11 stone! seems a lot more reponsive now, dont know wether to leave it all out or refit it all after the respray, what do you loy recon?

Just go for a single 12" mate and ditch that massive box. Save a load of weight. Take the spare out and shiove a can of tyre foam in there. That will compensate for the weight of the Amps!!
