Well my dads sold his audi and is using my 172 4 a short while, i just know that the car will come back with sliced alloys pointless thread really but i hate lending my dad my car as i try 2 look after it!! Im in 4 a really bad week i reckon

The splitters probably goin 2 be ripped off aswell!! He took off out the drive and heard a crunch!! Hes goin 2 get a beatin when he gets back i promise that much, its KILLING ME!!!

just warn him and it will be fine, our driving school cars used to go through wheel trims all the time, since we moved to Twingo Dynamiques with alloys we have had 2 cars do 100k each in 2 years and alloys are all as new, even the passengers side front! just by keeping an eye out and a bit of extra care

Me and the wife were paranoid about kerbing the alloys (had a 200 sport), a went to see my brother in Somerset and noticed the offside front wheel was scuffed-I didn't do it and the wife said she didn't (she'd admit it if she had and it's her car!).
Went to get it sorted at Renault and the wheel guy said it was typical pot hole damage-wasn't chuffed, not at £425 for the first years road tax.
