Kestrel DAS 6 power switch

Is it supposed to stay in the on position when pushed or are you supposed to hold it to keep the machine running?

Mine pops out unless held which is getting old real quick, wondering if I have a faulty machine.

mine stops on so presume they should all be like that?

Mine has 2 stages. First you need to keep It held to get power but If you push It more It clicks In and stays on by itself.

I may have found the problem, and a possible solution.. pics in a minute..

So it looks like the button slides forwards then pushes down into this indentation to hold it there. From what I can see the moulding on mine is a bit shallow. I've been scraping away at it with a flat-head screwdriver to make it deeper, seems to be working so far.
