Kestrel or Megs G220?

I've had the Kestrel in stock now for over a week and product is selling fast, I expect to see some in depth reviews over on DW very shortly.
First impression when compared to my own G220 was that it was slightly smoother and quieter to use. My own G220 has always sounded a bit rough but has always performed perfectly.
Weight is almost identical with the DAS-6 just being the lighter of the two machines.
The G220 is IMHO the better looking of the two units and comes with a handy hard plastic storage case. Both units come with a 1yr UK warranty plus Kestrel have a service / repair centre here in the UK.
The Kestrel also comes with spare motor bushes.
Other than that, not a lot in it.
