Now, If that has happened to it, would the key still light up? I would have thought that the key would still light up when pressed despite not being coded to a car. I might be wrong but that’s what I would expect to happen.Only thing I can think is the lack of power to both the car and the key being flat for so long, it's lost its coding? But for the central locking only, as you've used the key to start it so the immobiliser recognises the key, otherwise it wouldn't of started
I’m completely stumped on what to do with it if the key guy can’t fix it. Might be worth seeing if I can get a new key coded for less than Renault will charge.
