Further to an earlier post, I have repaired the switch on the remote pcb and by holding carefully with a battery and wires tested it successfully,
When buying the car and noting it didn’t work I removed the cover and noted that there nothing electrically connecting the positive side as the connecting strip was missing from the fob, (only when home notice the switch had broken off).
I bought a s/h fob off ebay but whilst waiting for it, read up that there are two type of PCC/battery used within these enclosures, so don’t which I will receive, assuming it’s the wrong one, can I get this connecting strip from somewhere?
part shown is below, the part that sits under the battery.
When buying replacement covers they are not included.
