Funny - Ive had three of the guy's in the office try and get it off too and they cant do it either.
I have a 1.2 and yes it was EXTREMELY difficult to get the battery out the first time, but it is do-able, the arrow on the back of the key shows which way to push that half, just find someone with strong fingers.
AJR should be able to hook you up!
^ watch batteries aren't they?
Have you ordered a batt Laura?
If you tell me the number i can post one down to you if needed?
As above it'll be a CR 2016, 2025 or even a 2032 IIRC.
its probably not the battery, it will be the key, around £170 for a new one coded to your car
does it click when you press the button ?........chances are the button has come off the circuit board, or one side of it has
does it still light up, how bright is it ?
the key slides apart btw, if it wont, stick a screwdriver in the key ring gap and use that to help it along
I guess what i was trying to say was is it possible to go somewhere other than Renault and get it cheaper or is it only something Renault can do?Brun works for Renault and that's the price he said it would be, plus the dealer you spoke to said the same so I would say so
