Knocking noise when i pull off

Hi! so ive just purchased a clio 172 phase 1 on the cheap, knowing there was a knocking noise im out to get it solved!
ok so knocking occurs when i pull off from a stand still, accelerate in 2nd and sometimes 3rd but only briefly, its almost a constant knocking if accelerating hard in 1st gear, it does it on the odd occasion when i start the engine, and also when i turn it randomly clonks.

i have been advised it could be a 'dogbone' mount? as my gearknob/lever moves a little when i let off the accelerator.

any ideas?

Sounds a lot like the dog bone mount! Aftermarket replacements are a good idea!

Thanks for the advice danny, im visiting my local dealer in the morning to confirm the mount is faulty, can you recommend a aftermarket brand?

So just an update guys. went to a local garage and found/cured the knocking noises i was hearing.
1. Dogbone mount bolt loose!
2. Top engine mount plate (best way i can describe it) needed moving as was sitting close to engine and knocking when turning left.

All sorted now and car is much better to drive!
