Knocking on 182

What a surprise.....

Knocking on my 182 with full lock, only when first driving away, seems to not do it when warm. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the power steering pipes knocking. Booked it in for repair, they then only tightened the gearbox mounts and assured it would be fixed. And guess what....no difference at all. It feels like the anti lock brakes are coming on, really strange. Anyone got a solution for this????

That's the strut top. It requires them to gind away a bit of metal and refit it. Common fault which they'll have on the system. I had it done to my 172 and 182.

At least they did the mounts, as that's bound to start knocking anyway. Mine is in for that in 2 weeks.

Mine does that and they adjusted the stut tops but it still does it. Going back in on wednesday
