Knocking sound driver side wheel

So i put on my 25mm hub- centric spacers and now theres a bad knocking sound, any ideas?

Cant get the wheel off again due to the locking nut pattern being crushed.

Any vibrations or wheel wobble? You should be able to feel either through the car

Nope, just a heap of noise, its like a creak sound too.

Did you use longer bolts and are you sure they are done up correctly?

First thoughts are that the bolts haven't been torqued up properly

Went to tyre change place this morning, they got the lock nuts off, thankfully!

Brother is away to work in the car so will try looking at it later. Ill make sure the bolts are done up properly.

Check the ones that hold the spacer to the hub aswell mate then triple check the wheel bolts

I was going to check them and thats when my locking nut became banjaxed :/ I hope it gets rid of the sound as i need these spacers otherwise the wheel is completely lost in my arch

tbh id definitely check asap but like what others have said above, check the bolts are all torqued up properly and if the spacers are the problem for the moment being i would remove and leave off until you figure out the source of the problem. Think you would rather be driving a car that is safe with alloys hid in the arch than a car that could possibly lose a wheel and cause much more damage Hope you find the problem

Major downside is not having a torque wrench to hand :/ I too would rather be driving safe! Cheers, i hope i find it.

Spacers off, no more sound :S Will refit them another day when it isnt raining 24/7 and see how it is then
