knocking sound

As i was driving home, i could feel a knocking sound coming from the front,
and my steering wheel vibrates a little, does anyone know what this could be?

driveshaft or cv joints (could be inner or outer)

best go to a garage for an inspection. Also, have a look for split gaitors behind your front wheels.

if they are split the grease will have spun out and the joint would have been running dry.

cheers mate for the advice, it was actually the locking nut that become loose, the garage that changed the tyres didn't tighten it enough!

Glad its only a minor issue.
