Knocking/Vibrations when letting off

Randomly started getting a knocking and sometimes vibrations when letting off the go pedal, more noticable at higher speeds, also noticed a knock once when pulling away however ive not been able to reproduce it. Seems a little random to me, I have replaced the front shocks, springs & top mounts with Renault items + Cooksports so would seem abit of a coincidence but it didn't start happening straight after fitting them. I first thought it was a top mount somehow as I had to gun on the top caps as the nut and the cap are now separate rather than being one piece on my old mounts, so there is a fair amount of thread showing compared to the old mounts to stop the cap flapping about under the nut. ?? :( This is the 'cap' under the bonnet, not the shock.

Any ideas?

I have a powerflex dogbone so 'shouldn't be that, upper engine mount looks as good as new tbh, its only covered 45k but is of course fairly old now. It 'sounds' from in the car at least like its coming from the offside top mount area but I wouldn't expect these sorts of random sounds from my top mounts!? Unless its the spring somehow knocking around, I know the Cooksports do move slightly when the car is jacked up for instance but not sure why this would be a problem when the cars down.

Had another listen at lunch, with the windows down it sounds more like a clicking sound, definitely a rotational sound as the speed of the noises changes as I change speed, drive shafts look ok, at this stage im guessing it could well be brakes related but couldnt get behind the disk to check the other pad at lunch. Trackday killed them perhaps! f**king DS2500's lol.
