ktec 182 supersports boomy?

I need a new exhaust for a trophy. Thinking of buying a ktec supersports and using it with the standard cat. All I need to know is, is it boomy on the motorway at say 3-4 or 5k rpm?

I bought a supersports for the 172 cup and it's too boomy on the motorway for me but fine otherwise - if anyone wants to swap for the sports let me know (they seem to sounds different in different installations too which I know doesn't help).

So I don't want to do the same for the 182, but people seem to say the 182 sounds different to the 172 anyway.

I had one on my 172 Cup. Boomed like crazy on the motorway with a cat.

Cant comment on the Trophy/182 one though.

I have one on mine and it's fine on the motorway around 70. It's louder though at 60 and 80

ok fine and cruising to the nurburgring at 90-100mph in germany?

It sounds like the comparison needs to be vs the 172 cup supersports which is boomy from 60mph, and above 4000 not so boomy but is still loud.
Is the 182 supersports loud at 80mph? Because there is no point me having the stereo on 60mph plus.

my mate has a ktec exhaust on his 182 with std cat and middle box and its no noisier than standard..

does it have the standard renault centre section? I didn't think you could mix the aftermarket back boxes with standard centre or vice versa?

I know the sports ktec will be fine, it's the unsilenced centre section I wanted to know about.

No sorry it's got the stainless ktec middle section with silencer.
