Ktec coil over adjustment

Hi I'm trying to higher the suspension but I'm having trouble doing so, can someone give a quick guide. Am I meant to be turning the top ring? Cheers

Yes. Do you have the C-spanners to adjust the rings?

Yes but the ring won't move, there solid. I'm sure there making a squeaky noise as well

They might be seized, I adjusted mine recently and it was seriously hard work getting them to move again. Spray them with plenty of WD40, leave them for a few mins and then try again. If that still doesn't work, get the C-spanner in position and then use a hammer on it to try and get it to turn. I had to do this but eventually they started moving again.

They're s**t. My rear ones just completely collapsed...Only needed it to last one more day.

Use a wooden mallet or a soft hammer when hitting the C spanners.

If they are properly seized the C spanner will just bend after a good few hits.

The C spanners I got with my KTEC coilovers are pretty solid, it would take a LOT more than a few hits with a hammer to bend them.

Fair enough mate. Haven't done this on my K-Tec ones but it happened on my AVO ones a few years ago.
