brakes got fitted at a garage mate 2hours labour £80

is that the big brake kit? or just upgraded drilled 1's?

big brake kit mate. you can see the blue extender brackets in the pic to accomodate for a bigger brake disc

Ahh, as i was thinkin ov gettin this kit for my car, but keepin them under 15's tho,

you will struggle mate. the discs are significantly bigger than stanadrd and also the caliper carriers are larger as well. although saying that these are the same size as the 172 ph1 discs and they use 15" oz f1's so you might get away with it. brembo had them fitted to his rep and they looked great.

but from what i saw under k-tec on the Billet 4 4pots, the 285mm brakes should just fit under 15's tho,

Was brembo's alloys 15 or 16?

yeh think you will be fine coming to think about it but might need spacers thats all to space the awheel away from th ebrake. brembo's were 16" mate

these are not cheap ebay s**t mate. this kit cost over £250 so isnt cheap. plus how can they be standrd ones if they are bigger and thicker???

I have these fitted to my dci for about 20K miles now
they've improved braking a lot, dont fade like the oe ones.

Never had a problem with them

Hi all brakes been on a week and up to very impressed first thing on a morning when its cold they give instant bite only one problem a dont know if the other people that have these fitted but there a bit squeaky now and again guy at the garage says it shouls just be to they bed in hope so

you got a spare 15" wheel Stevo you could put on and take a piccy for me im planning on gettin them, just want to kno if they fit 100% behind them,

sorry mate i havnt got the 15" wheels no more to try them ktec state on there site that they fit when i bought them last year i had the 15" wheels on i put one against the wheel and i must say there didnt look like there much room available thats why i got the 17" wheels fitted
