ok i have just bought a used ktr back box for my 172. i bought the car with a massive oval back box and i got this to replace it. I fitted it today and it makies a complete different noise but i dont know if its the noise it should make. I was told they are raspy but this rasp is very loud. Do they all sound like this or is something wrong?

Does it have a cat still and centre silencer?

they are very loud and raspy from about 3k rpm. especially if its the supersports one with no mid silencer

i run a sports cat and a silenced centre section but it sound loud and very rattlely but it may just be me. it does kick in after 3k
