You don't like drag racing because your bender mobile couldn't beat a mobility scooter in a straight line.

Even if I had an SL65 Black with Nitrous, I still wouldn't care about VMax.

Me neither as I don't want to die, but for £30 quid drag racing is a good day out,
chatting to people about their cars some of which are big money builds you wouldn't get to see on the road,
you cross the line at around 100mph and get to race people at full blast without getting nicked,
yes it's not a track day or a race meeting, but it's a cheap day out blasting cars with like minded people, what's not to like?

The social side of it, sure, that's all good.
But drag racing is only marginally less pikey than superstock banger racing. IMQHO
