Laptop Memory

Hi,

Just a quick questions about memory for my laptop. I have a Sony Vaio laptop which has 1 stick of 533Mhz 512Mb RAM in it but would like to get another stick. I have run the memory checker on the crucial website but it doesnt detect suitable RAM for my laptop

Do you know what type it takes and roughly how much I would be looking at paying for another stick of 512Mb of the same speed.

If you can afford to, get a matched pair of DDR667s. 2x1gb should cost similar to 'model-specific' 533s, and most (if not all) VAIOs running 533 DDR have the ability to run 667.
