Large Exhaust Clamp?

I have a blueflame cat back exhaust and silenced decat.

It is now blowing between the two and apparently its because the renault clamp isnt big enough.

I have been told that I need to find a bigger one, but dont know where, any ideas?!?!?

Its the clamps that are split horizontally in 2 with a screw either side holding them together.

theres only one type of clamp for the standard design of cat to center section.

I cant see how a bigger one is goin to help. You need to take the clamp off, re-line the 2 and clamp it tight. The blueflame is heavy right? probably causing the 2 to pull appart.

that fits to the flange on the center section, just do the 2 bolts up as tight as you can, or take it all off clean it and re fit with a new clamp from renault for £5

these are a b**ch - mine is doing the same and blowing which makes it sound pants. someone on here had the two parts welded together but i dont wanna do that. it looks like a really gash fit tho doesnt it.

It was me with the Horrible welded up Decat and Cat-Back... No Blowing from the Joint now

Just from the downpipe to Decat Got a new Gasket Kit for it but as with most renault Parts its really Ill fitting

Cheers all. I don't know what it is tbh. My mate works at Renault and he bought a new standard clamp and says it doesnt fit and I need a bigger one?!?! I dont think the blueflame is that heavy??? Its much lighter than the standard one. Maybe I should put the cat back on.

Don't bother. Use the proper stuff, the orange (or copper) silicon flange sealant - they sell it at Halfords, it costs about £4 and it's made by Loctite. It works, too! I had the same problem, it's now sorted.
