Last minute ebay bidder

Is there software to use to bid on an ebay item in the dieing seconds so you don't loose it...? Even when your not at your computer.

I seem to be loosing out on ebay items when bidding as low as the last 40 seconds and someone else bids on it and wins. Pisses me off.

Is there some free software to use?

Theres software out there that give you free trials that bid within the last second. i used one a couple of years ago did the job and i won the auction. I just tend to bid within the last 30 seconds myself though

Yeah but what if you can't watch until the end of the auction beacuse you're busy doing something else or miss it?

Im a tight arse with my money and dont like to pay more than needed lol. So if i dont bid on the item till the last minute then it wont show anyone else im interested in the item.

But if the auction ends for more than you're willing to pay, you dont win, and surely cant afford to win.

If you can afford to pay more, and are gonna use a sniper to ensure you get the item, just set a silly high maximum bid.

These things spoil the whole point of ebay. Surely they're banned?

That's the stupidiest idea I've ever heard! People use Ebay to get a bargain usually. So why bid straight away and keep overbidding the person who bids above you. This wilt ake it up to silly amounts! Best to wait to dying seconds then whack in the most you're willing to pay to try and secure a purchase.

Personally if i see someone has bid on something i have a look to see what it is in the description. If an item hasnt been bid on i tend not to bother looking sometimes. There are bargains to be had and anyone who thinks bidding with hours left is a good idea is delusional imo.Bidding at the last minute ive got plenty of cheap stuff off ebay!

5 people want to buy "172 wheel" you think its worth £35, new they are £40, so bid £35, the other 4 people think its only worth £30, so you win it for £31

i tend to buy stuff to sell on when it comes to car bits as there are some people out there on the world of ebay who dont realise how much stuff is worth.

But... This sniper stuff IS b****cks. At the end of the day if someone's set a higher bid then no matter how late you snipe the auction it's still going to go to them.

bidding well before an auction ends is pointless!

all that will happen is the next person will outbid you, if he fails he will try again, etc! then a bargain suddenly becomes expensive!

if someone is the highest bidder with say £30 as his highest bid, and the auction is on £25.....then he checks with 1 min to go and he is still the highest bidder, then he's gonna sit there and wait to win!

if you get in with £35 as your highest bid with 20 seconds to go then you will most likely win the auction!

if you had bid £35 with 5 mins to go then this would give the other guy the opportunity to bid even more which just bumps the auction up! great if you are selling something but not if you are the buyer!

common sense! really dont see why people have bidding wars with days left on the auction! pointless, altho on the other hand....if people didnt do this then all auctions would be on £0 till the last minute!

so basically if you are clever enough to understand how to win, then you have the edge on the other 98% of the eBay thickos that are fighting for the highest bid with 7 days remaining!!
