Last of the mk1 172s

Does anybody know when the last of the mk1s were registered ?....when i went for mine i was told by the dealer there was only mine, Iceberg silver and a yellow one being built at the time.

My car was registered on the 30/3/01 can anyone beat this ?

How many mk1s were built ? [ bit of a long shot this ] and somebody told me there was only officialy 1200 mk1s registered with Reno is this right ?

There were 172 "172 Exclusives" built at the end of the production of mk1 172s. Not sure of the dates, but if your car isnt green with grey leather interior and BBS alloys, it isnt one of the last 172 made!

Mine was the last one registered May 02
