Sorry no, unfortunately just after he passed me the car had an engine fire and he had to retire so didn't see him on the rest of the stages :dapprove:

Yes, passed it heading from Preston to Duns, just before the 90L over bridge, I was heading the other way.

The tv programme is well worth watching - it's got a clip of the Clio going over Swinton crossroads, as the car bounces across the junction the back kicks up in the air and the car drives on it's nose, fantastic action!

The swinton crossroads is great fun but wish you could see further down the hill, when they wipe out. Although the 4 defender stage cars are the best at it... they just go full pelt and get about 5 foot of air lol... got some good footage on my cam too.

My Clio flying shot was also on the Swinton stage but at "Little Swinton" rather than the Mill crossroads. Some good jumps just down from the Mill as well!

Didn't you pass Traws on your NW night run?! It's full name is Trawsfynydd but I can never spell it right so write Traws instead. It's turn right in Bala then along that lovely road for a few miles, left at T junction to the holiday cabin place the left up the lanes to the old army ranges :)
