late 172/all 182 headlight units

Does anyone know if the clear front plastic section of the headlight unit can be removed without causing damage? It looks like it's been glued/bonded to the casing using some type of silicon sealant.

Bugger. Ok, does anyone know if you can buy the clear plastic part and the reflector/bulb holding parts seperately?

I'd say no chance in hell you'll get it apart. I had a xenon cluster broken in the post and I tried in vain to get it open to repair it, no go.

They lights only come as a complete until and i'm not sure on the halogen ones but the xenon clusters are £200 each, good old renault prices as per.
