Clio V6 255 (Acid Yellow)
Ive recently bought a V6 255.
This is the first rear wheel drive car that Ive owned.
Last night I was demonstrating how good the traction is off the line by trying a launch at 5,000rpm. Now Im used to progressively taking my foot off the clutch to get the fastest progress, but I believe that this caused my clutch to slip resulting in a cabin full of smoke and me moving forward at a snails pace!
Ive discussed this with a mate and he thinks that in a rear wheel drive car you have to be brutal and literally side step the clutch at the given revs. Is he right??!! - I dont want to test his theory and end up needing a new gearbox!!
