LCD TV Help

Hi all,

Is it any good? i dont know anything about tv's, does it do hd 1080?

or what else could/should i get for around the 650/700 mark ?

Yeah I bought it, great TV does looks amazing

Appears to do HD 1080 but Im not using HD at mo see below

think it does 1080i, most 32" do.

possibly but they doesnt make them as good as the sony. might be the same panel but its whats in the guts that make it look better.

sony have better processors as you would expect for the extra price.

its the R73 only difference is that it has the blue bit at the bottom instead of silver as the R74

edit: silly me, they do 1080i, the image is just downscaled so it isn't actually the same quality as a proper 1080 set.

Yes, Samsung screens are used in Sony LCDs.

But I think the top of the range Sony's have better processing.

1080 native resolution screens are not really necessary for screens sizes less than 50".
