leak caused sewage smell

woke up today to a sewage smell,seems water got into front footwell,have mopped it up and pulled carpet and foam back and sprinkled footwell with talc,to hopefully find the leak,how do i get rid of the awefull stench.

It will probably be the drain hole under the front wiper motor, it's common for it to get blocked, water then builds up and comes through the around air vents behind the dash and as it's water it spreads everywhere. Do a search for it and you will find more out about it.
