Leasing clio 200

Just after some information really, does anyone know if Renault are currently doing any offers on the clio 200?
Been looking online and roughly getting the price of 240 PCM for a 2 year deal which is outside my budget.
Any help is appreciated thanks :)

I wouldnt bother leasing mate.

I just bought a LY clio 200 from renault. 2 years old. marked up at £14500, got them down to £12000.

They gave me finance quotes, and the PCP was £280 PCM, which sounded good. But then a balloon payment of £5500 at the end of the term.

With the interest rate (7.5%) I worked out that I would be paying roughly £17000 for a £12000 car. Not worth it.

Plus if you dont buy the car at the end, or trade in, then you are left with nothing, and having paid £280 per month for however long. money down the drain.

Buy it on hire purchase if you can. Its much simpler. Or get a bank loan.
Hope that helps

Alot of us on here have been helped by user "Richard1" if you want to have a word for more details.
His website is:

What Lemkey is missing however is no matter what you will also have "money down the drain" on any new car. You either lose it on depreciation if you purchase the car outright, or you lose it on monthly repayments. Its all part of new car ownership im affraid.

thanx for replies.. ill give that richard a shout. I'm still in 2 minds whether or not to purchase the new model with the all new interior. Or go for the alien green... which has attracted me to the clio 200 series. Although unfortunately been told they've discontinued the AG version for this years model?? Any1 have a rough estimate as to how much the AG 2009-2010 models are worth these days? ta

an AG on average miles 59 plate with recaros & cup chassis- 11k-11.5k- poss 12k from Main dealer
