led dash

ola ppl, many many moons ago there was a chap on here from blackpool i think who could do/change dash bulbs from orange to blue (some off you myt think im a chav) but im not just thought it looked good n was wondering if any1 can remember the thread or the member

really interested in gettin it done or any guidelines on how to do it lol

or if any1 can remember his forum name n ill get in touch

any help apprieciated guys

did mine myself. just get yourself a decent multimeter and some very thin tips for a soldering iron and the jobs a good un! pics of mine are further down.

I managed to do mine with a £9.99 soldering iron with an extremely large tip

Just took a couple of hours longer than it should

For a soldering iron? I have one brand new Antex one that i ordered to do my dash with, but it took too long so i used an argos one lol. PM me if interested

Have you done much soldering before? I used a cheap one, but it took a very long time, tbh i wish i waited and used one with a smaller tip.

Can't remember where i got my LED's from, i know halfrords dont sell them though! There's a few places online that sell them, do a search and find out where everybody else has got theirs from.
