Leftover Towbar. Bar.!

Took off the towbar itself but gonna leave the rest of it attached - adds a bit more strength I suppose and handy to just reattach the towbar if I need it!

Any ideas on what to do with that lovely piece of metal I have left tho?

I'm thinking spraying it silver or black. I just want it to be less noticable; got any good ideas?

Spray it black, out of interest how is it held onto the car, is it welded onto the spare wheel well?

There is a long bar going all the way along the back bumper, which is then connected on the left and right side by some steel rods they go to bout 1/3 the way of the car length.

Sorry that explanation aint great! Theres no welding been done tho its all nut and bolt.

I can try get some photos if you are really interested in how its connected!

Have it sprayed black but with paint that wont damage easy if you put it back on again

Perhaps look to use like caliper paint or some quite thick paint.

I would go for black too. Silver will look a bit chavy IMO.
