whats the law like on this?

Well, after a little googling, it seems like the law is based around the colour of the light your headlights produce, not the colour of the lens. So a sight tint may well be ok.

But then it falls down to "Why would you want to?": You'll simultaneously be lowering the amount of light you put out, reducing your visibility at night, and make your car look like a chav-wagon by day.

Personally, I prefer to see where I'm going at night...

just wear sunglasses at night

seriously though, if you want darker lights, then paint the inside surrounds (not reflectors though) and it'll darken the overall lamp without reducing output

i meen very light smoke, a little like the ps dont by a friend (the tints aren't real)
(anthracite nevasport alloys now on)
