Re: let us see pictures off your old cars you owned

Sorry for being 100% r****d, but how did you get them all to track? Or do you're friends drive the others there with you?

Yes mate. Exactly that. My uncle always comes with me. Then I just ask a friend or two. I let them drive them on track as well so lots of people have fun day out. My mum will drive something if I get stuck. My little sister is very good on track and often come along as well. She drove Clio out to Ring for me last year :)

Sounds like you are a very generous guy, I like your style

Love them all in different ways! and I mean all. I LOVE my Clio. 10000000000000% love it.

Have you seen the Westfield video I posted? Its VERY intense and extreme car... it can thrill on another level to pretty much anything I've driven. Mainly as its so over powered and has no downforce and just tries to kill you every corner! Will show you video if you havent seen it.

I'm from Essex so sad chavy personal plates are De Rigueur! I love em :)

Re: let us see pictures off your old cars you owned

I did see someone's videos a while back it was a load of videos of a lotus I thought it was. But I don't think that was you. Love to have a look if you can link me up?

I like personal plates personally, I think they make a car just that little bit more special, and of course it un dates the car

f**k me. That's insanely quick. Great driving too, if I'd have gone sideways that often at that speed I'd have shat myself.

You kinda have to dial yourself as well as the car in... I drove it for first time in dry for 3 months on saturday. For the first 5 laps... I was SCARED! I was like.. how the hell did I used to attack the track and push this thing hard?!?!?

Few sessions later and it was sideways central again!

The engine is NOT ideal for really setting a lap time. Way too much torque comes in so hard and it totally overwhelms the car! no downforce either doesnt help...

BUT its not a racecar and it does EXCATLY what I wanted it to.... SCARE ME! challenge me... and thrill me! Its ALOT of fun... very rewarding when you can get it flowing.

Never get bored of seeing that video, it's insane, lol!

Cant stop watching that video!!

How did you manage to blow the gearbox on the Exige!?

10,000 VERY hard miles! mostly on track or Ring.

Its always 3rd gear that goes. VERY VERY common fault sadly.

The car was never really designed to be supercharged at beginning. The Atmo cars are always fine.... Its the supercharged ones like mine with 240bhp + that kills em.

I actually wasnt driving myself when it when. My mate did 5 laps, then my uncle took it out... 3rd gear boom!

I had an after market gearbox oil cooler kit fitted to mine. Was supposed to sort the problem. Sadly... it didnt!

You are welcome to come for passenger ride in Westy?

Showed that video to a friend of mine and it turns out he knows you apparently, Adam beard he's called. Said you learnt how to drive like that from owning a corsa :P

With 240bhp that Exige must FLY!! Can't even imagine what the Westy feels like...

I'd love to come as a passenger in any of your motors :D

Just spent the last hour or so watching your videos on youtube haha!!

I'm planning on doing a lot of track days this year in the Sport. Haven't got the balls yet to take my other car out like you do with yours.

You'll have to keep my posted with any track days you book etc. I've got Bedford on the 12 March, but it's my first one ever in my own car so will probably be taking it easy, ISH.

My first car, a Citroen Saxo 1.1x – I loved this car and wish I never sold it!

P130609_114702.webp

My second car, a Ford Focus 2.0l – A huuuuge step up after owning the Saxo for 2 years! Extremely good car.

DSCF1613.webp

My third car, a Peugeot 306 1.6l – Bought it to sell on but did 500 miles in two weeks of having it, and it was a very nice car.

100_0435-1.webp

My fourth car, a Ford Mondeo 1.8l – Again, bought it to sell on but loved the way it drove so much I ended up keeping it for a couple of months!

100_0502.webp

My fifth car, a Seat Toledo 1.8l – Bought it to keep whilst travelling to and from Uni. Very well built car but it was an Auto which was a novelty at first but soon became very boring!

5.webp

My sixth car, a Ph1 Renaultsport Clio 172 2.0l – My dream car for a long long while. Ended up costing me a fortune so in the end got rid 

Clio12.webp

My seventh car, a Saab 900 2.0l Convertible – Bought it to sell on..

IMG_0974.webp

Which I did! For this:
My eighth (and favourite car of them all), a Citroen Saxo VTS...

Then just after my 18th I bought this:

Seat Leon by Adam, on Flickr

Which ended up in tears after some woman in a BMW lost control.

Then the 200 arrived:

That lasted about 4 weeks before petrol costs got silly so I sold it and ordered my A3.

While waiting on my Audi I got another Leon:

Goes ok with 240bhp. No ball of fire like the Westy. But yes.. adequate ooomph!

Once I get the uprated JUBU gearset in it (4 months wait, so sticking another standard box in it for meantime) I will get it tuned to 300bhp and it should go very well!

Sadly can't do 12th march. Weekends only for me really.... my GF lives in Sydney so I need all my holiday for travelling and meeting her!

Otherwise I would have come along. Make sure you get an instructor early in day! thats the best advice I can offer!

You will have a ball. ENJOY!
