Lifter locations

Afternoon all,
Took note of where everything else went but didn't realise the lifters have different sizes underneath so just put them in an unordered row🤦‍♀️ There is no indication on the head as to hat order they go in, I don't suppose anyone can shed some light on the situation for me?

Cheers,
Jack.

Sorted them into piles, still none the wiser.
All the slots in the engine look the same size 🤔

There is no correct order other than keeping wear even in your particular engine by replacing them in the exact same slot.
You should be fine just putting them back in any order unless they are all noticeably different due to wear in which case you’d be well advised to renew them.
Good luck!

Fantastic stuff much appreciated! There isn't any notable wear on any of them, I am however only looking at the bottom surface, is there anything else specific I should look for or measure with the caliper?

Thanks again,
Jack.

No, not really. If you have time you could drop them in to a jar of oil over night to let them fill with oil so when you start the engine for the first time they are oiled straight away but it’s not essential.
