light for perfect gear change on 172

hi when im giving it some the light comes on to change gear on the 172 but iv seen on a vid tht someones also bleeped which is it wht i want mine to do should it bleep standard or do u have to buy something

when your in ya 172 an ur racing threw the gears just before you hit the redline a green light comes on at the bottom right of you clocks display but on a vid i seen it also bleeped when it came on mine just lights up when to change gear do u get me

Why on earth do people always feel the need to hit the limiter when driving ? The optimum rpm is about 700 revs before the redline !

I for one have never hit the limiter, sure it's been to 6.5k sometimes but no more.
If i'd have tried it in my dads car (a 172) the noise would have been so unbearable, t's standard too.

if u keep the revs high when booting it then change gear so that in the next gear your already at or above the 5k kick surely your car will be quicker? if that makes any sense, just liked the type r civic, when you keep it in the vtec they fly

dont be watching the green light, you should be watching the road
someone on here was busy doing this a crashed into someone at 60mph.
