light on dash top right hand corner

hi i just noticed a light come on my dash on my clio rsi (96) its in the top right hand corner and it is best described as a circle with 3 small lines to the right and left or the circle i am assuming its the brake pad warning light because they are getting low on the rear. thanks

Yeah, pad wear indicator but this is not fitted to the rear brakes.
