Lightening Standard Bonnet

I am sure a few people have done this, so was wondering if anyone had any pictures or could run through how/what they did?

slice just about everything off the back of it apart from the hinge mounts or at least one per side. ends up bloody light!!!

Took a nibbler to the inner skin and put it on aerocatches in all 4 corners. Weighed in at slightly heavier than a fg bonnet! Flapped like f**k, but never let go. Even on the limiter in 5th at 156mph. ?

This would require me to have a delicate touch, I'm a bit too agricultural for that ?? got rid of my spare bonnet too, so I can't even have a practice first

I used a nibbler to release the skin, then where it’s stuck to the bonnet itself, I sliced it with a Stanley blade to release it. Once it was off, I removed the remains with a razor blade scraper.

Sounds hard work, but it’s a piece of piss

My bonnet is like this so looks like im going to have to fit 4 aerocatches or something similar like pins maybe
