Lights all round

hey guys, was looking to change pretty much all the bulbs on my mk2 as i'm not a fan of the yellow from the headlights and sidelights and just wanted to know whats bulbs do you all recommend that aren't horrendously expensive, as im skint cheers

I got these for the sidelights the other day.

Go for silvertec/silver vision indicator bulbs and as for the headlights. Best route I would suggest would be to get a hid kit with 4500/5k bulbs to give a nice white with a tiny blue tinge look.

You cant put a HID kit on reflector headlights.

Why not? I did on my 1.2 before.

Hence why the Xenon lights have no silver behind the light itself. The refraction can cause grief if not fitted correctly. (usually seen in older 106s, 306s and old Corsas)

well hid's are great but without projector lenses it's just daft but just simplly looking for led white bulbs or something similar like the sidelights however

I know what you mean. Mine weren't too bad on mine. I do see some about which look all over the place.

Best thing is to get some nice looking sidelights and silver indicators.
