I was told by this guy who did my MOT.. that Blue bulbs will cause you to fail MOT? what happends if you have the Philips Blue Vision +30% Xenon Bulbs?

Also i had some other blue bulbs in my car

an yeah he said they would fail MOT.. he took them out an fit old white ones in.. but now one is broke. i am so annoyed :|

Can't you go somewhere a bit more friendly and not somewhere that only old people go? lol

1) The philips blue vision bulbs will pass an MOT theres nothign wrong with them and they do not shine blue at all - they are a crisp white.

2) The link you have above to the 7500k bulbs will fail as the colour of them will be blue/purple !!

my 6000k HID, those are normal halogen bulbs that are blue, bulbs should pass as long as they meet the regulations of the ECE R37

infact they looked quite nice where not that blue really just left a blue tint everywhere I'm along way from a chav
