Limp mode - Throttle body/pedal

My cars revving at 2k - loud pedal does nothing - Is it worth me just buying a pedal/ second hand throttle body and trying these first before a visit to Fred?

The pedal part number is 82000153455

So i fitted a replacement pedal, all seemed fine - driving to work today I got the fault light on again, but I can at least use the accelerator and the car will drive, just not very fast.

So - what should i try next? I turned the engine off and the light went off.

second hand body . Seems a little strange thought if the pedal solved the problem initially. Could be a wiring issue on maybe.

Chances are you have a wiring issue - Starting to become common now as these cars get older. Bring it in if you need help fixing.

I swapped the borrowed pedal for a brand new one - seem ok today.

There is a connector on the clutch pedal(Same as airbag connectors).Clean it or cancel it and sold directly.
