Linking a database to a website

Any good tutorials kicking about for linking a database to a website?

We have a stock list of forklifts here in work and i need to link our database to the website so that when you select DIESEL for a fuel type it will list all diesel trucks, or if you select 4 TONNE from a drop down box it will list all trucks with a 4 tonne capacity.

I remember doing it at uni a couple of years ago so a little refresher would be a help.

KDF

  Audi TT Stronic
Apache/PHP/mySQL

Best combination going. Just do a google search for them and some Howto's should pop up.

For testing it all out, try WAMP (Windows Apache/MySql/PHP package) - then as long as you have apache/mysql/php on your deployment platform you *should* be ok......
