Linksys BEFSR81 + Pipex

  Not a Clio
I have a linksys BEFSR81 router (cable/dsl) that i used to use with a cable modem.

We should shortly be set up with ADSL from Pipex. I have a Linksys ADSL2MUE modem.

Pipex needs PPPoA but the router only has the following options:

Static IP
Obtain IP Automatically
PPPoE
RAS
PPTP

Does this mean I won't be able to use it?

The modem does support PPPoA though.

I read something that says encapsulation only matters between modem and ISP in which case I just need to know how i get the router and modem to communicate?

hmm apparently i just need to set it to obtain ip automatically and make sure the router and modem have different ip's (which they do) Both have NAT but they shouldn't conflict.

I shall wait and see what happens then!
