Linux/Windows/Mac on a wireless network

  RIP Dan
How do i get em to talk?

My windows pc doesnt see my Linux machine on my wireless network.

When i look at my network places it doesnt see anything.

I want to drag files etc between the 2, is it possible?

Mrs has a mac and that cant see the other 2 either.

Install Samba on the Linux box.
Enable Windows File Sharing on the Mac (If OSX)
Standard sharing on Windows.

OSX can access SMB shares no problem, as can Linux.. so the Linux box and OSX box can definetly access the Windows PC no probs..

And it's certainly not big and definately not clever! ;) :p

Never had a problem with mac seeing a PC or vice-versa. Double check your settings, if all else fails, try using the finder connect and typing:

smb://X.X.X.X

where X.X.X.X is the ip address of the machine you want to browse.
