So you may of seen my first clio on here, went from this....

To this...

Bad times, oh well the car has gone now and in its replacement I've bought this...

Its a PB 1.6, 99k miles, climate, auto xenons, auto wipers, and pretty nippy compared to the 1.2!

Ive lready transfered a few small bits, spacers, wind deflectors, taken out side lights.

Plans are to just keep it mint as it is! Only the one picture for now as ill give it a good clean on the weekend along with a service!

Did the Xenons come oem or were they custom fitted?

Yeah happy with the extra poke! I only do 4 miles to work so it's all i need! Xenons are standard extra as far as i can tell, the washers dont work mind. Tad annoying. Really looking for some 172 seats, and in the future considering kw v1's!

Hmmm im thinking i may regret buying another black car as i like to keep it clean

Hmmm that's handy to know lol mine doesn't have any headlight washers, passed mot with previous owner just before I bought it though

The 1.2 had xenons with no washers, passed no problem, well they needed alignment but thats all!

Well my first car was black and a 1.6 so nothing new tbh. I used to clean that car at least twice a week! Plans atm are just some rs seats and colour code and keep it clean, fix the washers and wipers!

I did look at 2.0 but insurance was more then double so this will surfice for a few years. Yeah defo man, pm me when you do, as above im after rs seats and maybe 172 rear bumper if its going cheap enough

Small update. Wonky steering wheel was annoying me so i set it up, the proper way...lol

Still half a turn out but alot better.

As it was freezing cold today I thought it would be a good idea to wash, clay and zymol it, came out lovely but showed up a few dents I'd like looking at.

Still looking at lowering it, just loving the comfyness atm!

Tried fixing the auto wiper sensor but pulled it off and cant stick it back on lol so down to halfords tomo for some glass glue!

Update

Well a small one. Changed all but oil filter and oil. Spotted a 172 bumper on ebay going cheap. When i got it it wasn't in the best nick, so got abit of money back and it will do for now!

So old one off..

Then made a rookie error and started the car in gear as i had forgot to take it out, car decided to park in the garden..

But no damaged was done so all ok there!

No pics but i also bought new disc's and pads and got them fitted, old ones where shocking bad condition.

Next up was a bit of a detailing splash. Bough ag tar remover, ag qd and fast glass. Also some ag hd wax and poor boys black hole. All great stuff imo, the ad hd wax isn't like the dodo i had previously, it dries like ag srp with a white powder but is very easy to use and apply. So thats where she is atm, few pics but i do so need a better camera!!

Nice that. You often get 1.6's coming up with a good standard spec. I love seen the non sports with factory fit xenon's.

Not really.

Just changed the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body and ive ordered some carbon wrap for interior dash strips. Im not fond of the silver.

Also just ordered some sportlines. Id love coilovers but im trying to keep a comfy ride as my commute is very bumpy.

Ok so only a small update. This is probably were it ends also as theres notalot more i want to do with it.

I fitted the sportlines so its no longer a 4x4, as much anyway. I really rate these springs, same ride quality if not better then standard and a decent drop imo.

Also the cf wrap came and did the dash strips and gear insert, much better then the dirty silver!

I said i wouldn't be doing much else, and i haven't, but its been colour coded and cleaned....alot, detailing is addictive. Here it is after a wash n wax.

Ah didnt think of g101 but i may have to invest. Seems a waste as i dont own a pressure washer to snow foam. Hmm ill try a hot pressure washer. Thanks!

not really an update but to keep the progress logged, today I've sprayed the engine bay. I shouldn't be allowed near a spray can, I get so impatient, anyway heres the results ( the silver blob was to cover a finger print and will be black once dry)

The colour I went for was silver and black with silver flake for the cover/air box and fuse box cover.

Also fitted 25mm spacers each side to the front, and put the 15mm's on the rear. I fitted eibach camber bolts, think ive done a tad to much but it handles brilliantly.

and one of the whole car - hasn't been cleaned in a month as its to cold, shall wait untill feb.

It's been awhile but few small changes. Had 4 Dunlop tyres fitted, alignment sorted with -1 neg at front and rear, car's a dream to drive! Also my front arb outer bolt snapped, that's a real b*****d to replace but got there in the end!

I purchased a Whiteline arb off Si on here, fitted the next day, wow, who knew it would make such a difference, best upgrade so far. I have no pics as I tired to take one but its too sunny (LOL how?).

I sorted out my engine bay abit, the paint started flaking so I wrapped it in CF, not sure if it's a good idea or not?

Fitted some RS door strips

and gave it a good ol' clean

Yeah im ok, this was back in January, was hit at 35-40mph from behind! Nevermind!

Has been replaced with a Arctic Blue 182!
