Live diagnostics in south

Anybody know a good place to get live diagnostics done down south, I'm in southampton. Have had a few problems recently and want to get a diagnostic to see if it's lambda sensor (or any other sensor) related, and also help diagnose my airbag light fault.

Main dealers are so expensive, there must be somewhere else?

I can do this, but im in Redhill. Go on ebay and buy an odb lead and code reader.

I was under the impression neither of these had the full set of Renault equipment - although they can look at fault codes etc, they cannot trace wiring faults and test individual sensors etc. But perhaps I'm wrong?

Post the symptoms on here mate, there's quite a few tech guru's on here.

I'm pretty sure Mike @ Rentec has full Clip capability which can and does do live data. If you've got an ABS fault though a generic code reader from eBay or similar won't be of any use to you as it won't connect to that system.

I'd offer my services as i'm mobile but the callout charge to Southampton alone would be around £80-90 so probebrly prices me out.

Cheers for the info. I've talked to Mike who says they do indeed have Clip diagnostics so have been booked in there.

both rentech and ktec have CLIP, and i know ktec also have a number of different diagnostics scanners about the place
